In a city terrorized by the threat of an invisible murderer, a woman wanders alone at night in search of money because she has incurred large gambling debts. Her creditors have given her twenty-four hours to pay them back. With no one to help her, she finds herself caught in a downward spiral where every face she meets reflects her own victories and failures.
