Portrait of three filmmakers who make feature-length films against all odds, without means or subsidies: war films, thrillers, fantasy, etc. Gendarme, sacristan, sales agent, bricklayer or unemployed, they all share the same passion for cinema. Far from being amateurish, their films are surprising in their boldness and creativity. They reinvent art without even realizing it.
