On the eve of her thirtieth birthday, Claire is going through a difficult period. The mother of a little boy and in the midst of a break-up with her partner, she is coming to terms with the end of a love affair that has left her profoundly fragile. On sick leave, then unemployed, she had no choice but to return temporarily to her parents' home with her son. A temporary solution, just long enough to rebuild her life. But between her parents' benevolent concern and their constant intrusions into her life, Claire feels constantly evaluated - in her role as both mother and wife. She hopes to find some respite with her sister, whose freedom and independence seem both inspiring... and painfully comparable. Little by little, Claire slips into a silent melancholy. Yet, in the midst of this forced parenthesis, she gradually rediscovers the desire to live for herself, at her own pace, according to her own choices.
