synopsis

Julia, 40, alcoholic and disillusioned, navigates between two men, two glasses of vodka and attempts to help her friend Mitch, whom she rejects. Convinced that life has betrayed her, she sinks into denial until she meets Elena, a Mexican woman who turns her daily life upside down. Driven by despair, panic and greed, Julia commits a violent act, triggering a headlong rush that will confront her with a crucial choice: to live or to sink.
