Le mur de Taniperla follows Dominique Berger, a witness to the daily lives of Chiapas Indians and their struggle against the Mexican army. He films the creation of a fresco symbolizing their resistance, before it is destroyed during a violent crackdown. Expelled from Mexico, he edited his images like a diary, recounting his passage from simple observer to committed actor. More than a documentary, his film is a cry of revolt and a call for international solidarity against oppression.
