Traces, the world of Didier Mahieu

Sorting through his deceased grandfather's belongings, Didier Mahieu stumbles across administrative documents of unknown people, of which only a few written traces remain. As a painter, he decided to bring them back to life, to give them a face and an identity. Through his emotions about these forgotten lives, he pays tribute to the individual, unique, ephemeral and irreplaceable.
