Yadel

Kenan Görgün - 2011

Short fiction film

synopsis

On his birthday, Yadel is convinced that a special event will occur that will enable him to resolve the central problem of his existence: having inherited the name of a brother born dead before him, Yadel the First. A brother he never knew, but who has conditioned his whole life, his place within his family, and even his belief as to whether or not he has the right to be in this world. Today, Yadel knows he must put an end to this feeling of non-existence that has always pursued him.
