Benoît, eternal teenager and family man, leads a happy, uneventful life in the Nord-Pas-de-Calais region of France. One day, his father, a former cop turned private detective, is shot dead in his home by a man named Moret. Benoît discovers the troubled past of a father he thought he knew. And, for the first time in his life, he must fight to save himself and protect those he loves.
